We made it! It feels so good to mark places off my bucket list! I’ve been trying to make it to Seaside, Fl for years and there we were. The clear water, the white sand, the charming small town feel, it’s really what dreams are made of. Even though this picture perfect town is more expensive than other beach towns in Florida, it is truly worth it. The week we spent here was in short, magical.

Our first trip as a family of 6 is done. A huge thanks to Toyota for providing a safe and spacious vehicle for my family and I to travel in. We drove a 2021 Toyota Sienna Hybrid. There was enough room for everyone to get comfortable and ALL of our luggage! I loved the captain seats and the convenience of getting everyone in and out, especially with 2 car seats. The entertainment center is perfect for road trips. Here is the link to see all of the Sienna’s features! You can also check out a video I did showing off our ride here.

Before we arrived to our Airbnb in Santa Rosa Beach I knew this trip would be different. We were traveling with a newborn and our schedules weren’t packed with places to be and see. As much as I wanted to get to all the places on my list, I decided to save it for next time. I honestly wanted and needed a relaxing vacation. We spent our days at the beach and stayed there until dark. We drove around on a golf cart and visited the local ice cream shop. It was the slow living I always dreamed of.
Here is where we stayed! It was an 4bed/2.5 bath ranch with all the beach house feels. It came with a golf cart, kayaks, floaties for the community pool, 2 bikes, an outside shower, a gas grill and plenty of outside seating. The decor was thoughtfully selected and each room had a coastal touch. It was in walking distance from restaurants, bike rentals, the beach, an ice cream shop and more. It was absolutely perfect for my family of 6.

As I stated, we didn’t hit all the landmarks or eat at all of the hot spots. We didn’t go to even a quarter of the places I collected for my list over the last few years. However, we had an amazing time doing all the things below!
We visited Aly’s beach. This area is beautiful!!! Streets lined with palm trees, beautifully designed homes, cobblestone roads, great places to eat and nice places to shop. We enjoyed the beach while waiting for our place to be ready for check in. Ryann even had an impromptu birthday photo shoot.

We grabbed food and drinks from Shunk Gulley Oysters.

We enjoyed ice cream at Blue Mountain Beach Creamery.

Got breakfast and a taste of the award winning cinnamon rolls at Blue Mountain Bakery.

Visited the popular Seaside Post Office.

Hung out and had lunch at the food truck(air stream) area.

Had drinks at B.F.F.

Soaked up the sun and jumped waves at Santa Rosa Beach.

Drove the golf cart up and down 30 A checking out shops along the way. The kids even got a chance to “drive”. Lol

Picked up seafood and had a seafood broil at the house.

Enjoyed a birthday brunch for Ryann and Nox.

It was honestly the most perfect week that I could’ve asked for. Seaside you were so good to us and I hope to see you again soon! Have you ever been to this part of Florida? If not, make the trip. You won’t be disappointed.
