When you’re dropping in after a full year of silence… what do you even say? Hello? 😅 Well, hello there.
I always feel like a bit of a stranger coming back here, but honestly, stepping away from Instagram this past week has helped me feel more like myself again! More connected to the things that actually bring me joy. One of those things? This blog.

And speaking of slowing down, I’ve read three books in the last week. THREE. If you know anything about me, I love to read, so being so distracted that I am unable to even get lost in a book is nerve wrecking. But I just brought seven more books and have no plans of slowing down. A 2026 goal of 48 books feels reasonable! 😂

Since my last post at the beginning of the year, we’ve done a whole lot of living. Celebrating, growing, stretching, and soaking in each season as it comes. Isaiah started his senior year 😩 which still doesn’t feel real. How did time move this fast? Watching him grow into the young man he’s becoming has been such a blessing. Ryann is officially in high school and absolutely thriving freshman year! My girl was crowned Miss Freshman, in advanced dance, captain of the cheer team, leadership committee, and student council. Nori started Pre-K and ballet and Nox is in second grade, so tall and so intelligent. Anddddd we got a new puppy, Snow! The perfect ending to the year.

It’s been a full, beautiful, fast moving year and there’s no way I could fit all of it into one post… so I won’t even try.

Lately, my mornings have looked a little different. I’ve been waking up, making my coffee, and catching up on blogs again …something I used to love so much. That slow, quiet start to the day has been such a gift. For a long time, the constant content creation, full-time mothering, contracts, deadlines, and mental load of social media didn’t leave much room for that. My phone was always in my hand. My mind was always racing. Always

However, for the past week, my phone sleeps in another room. I’m not waking up and checking Instagram. I’m not overthinking content before my feet even hit the floor. I’m breathing + resting more. Especially with the kids home on break and it’s been really, really good.

So this is me popping in to say hello. No big promises to show up every week. Just a commitment to showing up here more often to share the things I love: motherhood, home, holidays, DIYs, crafts, and the everyday moments in between.

I’m so so glad you’re here.
Xo,
Chelle B 🤍
