It’s been almost a month since Hocus Pocus 2 came out. Can y’all believe we waited almost 29 years for this moment? And since we waited almost 3 decades, we couldn’t allow this time to come and not celebrate it in a fun way. We had an outdoor movie screening last week with a few friends and it was a blast.
I set up a room with a photo backdrop and a festive table setting. I had a snack table with Hocus Pocus inspired treats for the kids. Greg set up the projector and screen in the yard with plenty of space for our guest to set up blankets and chairs. We served pizza for dinner. (so easy when you just order the food vs. cooking it.)
If you are looking for a fun way to celebrate, an outdoor movie night is always the perfect option. It’s low cost and fun for all ages. You can choose a cute theme and decorate or don’t. Either way it’s a great chance to get together with family and friends and make those core memories. With the last week of spooky season here I am sharing different ways to intentionally celebrate.
I hope you find joy this season.
