Thank you Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort for hosting my family. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Family vacations are always the highlight of my summer. It is just something special about going somewhere different with my favorite humans. Now imagine a family vacation in the most magical place. If you seen my instagram stories you know that I am speaking about our getaway to Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World® Resort. Located on Disney’s property, this AAA five diamond award winning resort gives you everything you need from a vacation and more. Celebrating our 11th year anniversary and my birthday here was a dream.
From the moment our car pulled up to the gate we felt like royalty. From the back seat you heard the kids scream in excitement. And if I am being honest Greg and I were pretty excited too. As soon as we pulled up to the resort someone gathered our luggage to take it to the room and valet parked our car. Mask were required in the lobby and our temperatures were monitored on a device each time we came in the building. I couldn’t have been more appreciative for the measures that were put in place to keep us safe during our stay. In fact the entire resort including the guest rooms were being treated on an intensified cleaning and sanitizing schedule. In addition, there were sanitizer stations set up throughout the resort. The lobby was absolutely gorgeous. It is like we stepped into a magazine with the beautiful hanging lighting, curved stairwell and wall art. Check-in was quick and painless. We got to check in early and the kids were gifted with backpacks with goodies. Once we got to the room were blown away. The kids had their own room and large balcony over looking the pool and golf course. There was a robe and crown on the bed for Ryann and a bag of goodies on the desk for the her and Isaiah. The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was to die for. I mean the mirror had a tv in it! They had a stand up spacious shower and an oversized garden tube. Greg and I were welcomed to our room with a bottle of Rose´ on ice, chocolate covered strawberries and macarons to celebrate our anniversary. They even had a crib set up for Lennox with yogurt pouches, bubble bath, wipes, a bib and a stuffed animal. There was a king bed and a pull out sofa, 2 night stands, mini fridge, a wine dispenser, plenty of closest space and drawers for our belongs, a desk and chair, a separate balcony where we could see the entire resort grounds and a 65 inch flat screen tv. We also had our own bathroom identical to the kids. The thought the staff put into making us feel welcomed was unmatched.
We quickly got dressed in our swimsuits to head down stairs to the “Dive In’ movie at the family pool, which is offered 3 times a week. They set us up with lounge chairs and the kids went straight to the water to watch Finding Nemo. Greg and I ordered our food and drinks conveniently poolside. The fish tacos were soo delicious! So good, I ended up having them 2 more times during our stay. After the movie we took a tour around the resort. They even had golf carts available for us to get around. Greg and I finished our night with wine on the balcony watching the sunset.
The next morning came and we were excited to reunite with some of our old friends. Nox got to meet Goofy, Minnie Mouse and Mickey for the first time. We had breakfast with Goofy and his pals at Ravello. Breakfast was 5 stars. As if we didn’t get the red carpet laid out for us in our room, our waitress came out with mimosas, a cupcake and chocolates to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. After breakfast the kids rushed off to check out the Hideout Game Room. This place had everything kids love. Video games, all of them, even the ones we grew up playing, a huge tv playing movies, lounging chairs and more. Although they would have been content in the Hideout all day we went to the lazy river and spent the rest of the afternoon going between there and the Explorer Island water park. We were truly living our best lives and I couldn’t have been happier. We had every intention on going to Capa for an early dinner but we were having so much fun we didn’t want to leave. We opted to order food poolside again. There were honestly so many amenities offered for all ages that we needed a longer stay to experience them all. I loved that Four Seasons Orlando catered to families but also had an adult only pool for those who need to relax without the littles.
If you get a chance to visit Orlando there is no doubt that Four Seasons Orlando should be your top choice. A 10 minute walk from Disney and a plethora of activities at the resort so you don’t even have to leave is a complete win. We are already wanting to go back. This time we will make sure to check out the Spa, utilize the daycare so we can hang out at Oasis, the adult pool, and dine-in the many restaurants. Greg on the other hand is trying to go play golf and get more time at their basketball court. Lol All in all this place is beyond amazing! Check out their website to see for yourself. If you decide to go let me know. I would love to see your pictures.:)
